The race to secure the multi-million-euro cleaning contract for the Valencian public hospital network now has its contenders. Acciona, Eulen, Clece, ISS, Serveo, OHL, Fomento Valencia Mantenimiento y Limpieza (Nealis), STV Gestión and other operators in the sector have submitted bids to secure some of the cleaning services for the hospitals and healthcare centres managed by the Valencian Regional Government.

The tender, organised by the Regional Ministry of Health, has an estimated value of 629.27 million euros (including VAT). It is one of the largest service contracts put out to tender by the regional government in the healthcare sector. It includes the cleaning of the facilities, as well as complementary services, the supply of consumables and accessories, and the auditing of service delivery. The Health Department is seeking suppliers not only for physical cleaning but also for all types of personal hygiene products in hospitals, including paper towels, toilet paper and even toilet brushes.
