Beyond the station itself, the works will include improvements to public spaces, the development of the station precinct and integration with the wider Sydney Metro West rail network.

FCC Construcción Australia, together with its partners, will lead the design and construction of the station and the surrounding precinct, working closely with Sydney Metro and the Sydney Olympic Park Authority throughout the design, construction, testing and commissioning phases. The award reflects FCC’s growing presence in major Australian infrastructure projects, building on the company’s international expertise in the metro sector, alongside Ecove’s deep and long-standing local knowledge of the Sydney Olympic Park.

The project will also bring positive and lasting benefits to the local community, including local jobs, career development opportunities and ongoing collaboration with residents and businesses throughout the project’s implementation.
